Tint - o- rama

Seem to be loving a tint this week. Maybe cause I'm thinking about paper types and colours for zine covers etc. See Liam paying sweet tribute to Jesus in this photo. Go check out his work, he is a demon on the needle. We used to do a hilarious thrash band, he got too thrash, i got too lazy, the rest is history. I don't think i could scream like that now if i tried. The things we do, luckily, we never got past rehearsals, otherwise it could have destroyed his future as a budding a talented tattooist! serious!

Its Thursday Again!

Having been away for ten days i had lost the plot that yet another 1st thursday of the month had swung by. We ventured out to a couple of graduate shows to support some friends, checked out some boutique stores, gigs, and the launch of a much over due issue of FUN magazine at the alibi and drank their Whisky.

some great work coming through the pipeline, i just hope the creative industries don't fail these young hopefuls before they make their way up the ladder.

clean billboard clean mind

Every time i see one of these, these being an empty billboard i get a sense of clarity. Living in a busy city like London subjects the average alert mind to a point blank assault by the nameless salesmen. So much so that an empty billboard provides the equivalent sensation of looking at an open field or a beautiful horizon. It really does aid me in a clear mind which is sad, but true. Will a horizontal surface ever just be a surface again? i very much doubt it. Is a calm mind more important that the selling of temporary vices? yes. it is.

in a desperate attempt to get as much of the missing clues of RP's recent existence, your going to get used to sporadic post syndrome. But embrace it folks, it might not be tidy or fluid, but it we cant always conform. Sari did a sweet Prodigy shoot last week and had to create some damaged goods. Amazing how much fun can be had throwing a megaphone around and placing gaffa tape in a strategically rugged fashion can be.
