Here are a selection of photos documenting our flirtation with route 66. We licked its paths on various segments of our first drive from Vegas towards New Mexico and found a series of period delights along the way. We had no direct plans to hit this route but it seemed to tangle around our wheels every now and then. It felt a bit like when you watch the rail way tracks when your in motion on a train. All the routes seem to tangle and untangle as you pass through towns and cities. Oh yeah an we say the hoover dam. Big, dam, smart, kinda nuts, but like the grand canyon, its the kinda thing you can look at for ten and then u kinda have to say to yourself you did it. Am i an asshole? different stroke for different folk.
