Hey kids, so here is a bunch of shit shot in Barcelona, London, NYC, and California. These are photos of my contact sheets as its all i had time to shoot before i left. These photos are various subjects, characters and locations shot the last time i did a little trip here and there. This is small taste of RP in motion... Lets start with San Fran...

Twins- Iv always wanted to shoot a twins series, so every time i see them i am fumbling for my camera to capture a moment of double documentation. But when they are wearing the same clothes too.. bonus. Its always a bit sketchy shooting photos of other peoples kids. Its been made such a dangerous ground now. Because of this i could not shoot these kids front on, but i think this captured what i wanted.

Beat poet from San fran. I forgot this guys name, but i met him just walking in the street. We shared a few exchanges about some rad books he just picked up and i admired his sweet moustache and tats.

 

Life as we know it....

So this was pretty much how things looked just before i left. And how they look on a daily basis, a bag, a laptop, a bunch a wires, and a bunch of cameras... Iv landed in toronto and these are RP tools for survival.

So here are a bunch a photos from Kew. We hit this spot up last month for a birthday stroll. Our attempt at being civilized lasted until sunset, then the lost boys mentality of pulling a party out of your ass and drinking till the early hours surfaced. Kinda dig the way some of these shots look like vintage postcards, mainly the first one. oh to be british.

Toronto calling London

Hey so i fucking sorted my shit out and got a laptop today! get stoked, iv a list as long as my arm of rad shit iv seen just today at the beaches (far east Toronto). Currently hanging at Double Naut HQ getting my shit fixed up with CS and office etc so i can blog the shit out of your faces! I made it to T.O

So i made it to Toronto and have been here about a week now. Blogs have been much delayed due to no Laptop. Im picking one up this week so get ready for a weeks back log of stuff. Life in T.O has already been a blast, lots of eating, and walks. This city takes pride in its beautiful attention to detail. From its personal messages on every chalk board (something iv gathered a world of photos of) to its recycling, merchandising in boutique stores, dedicated "put your old furniture out" day so you can just take each others old shit, and art curation. This city has zero frayed edges and a world of well thought out delights for the most indulgent of minds. Places to eat, thrift, walk, etc to follow. For now, enjoy these vintage Toronto postcards.

Most immediate plans - seeing Okkervile river, making first addition trip zine, getting fucked up in Montreal being locked in a house for 24hrs and making another zine, road trips, antique hunting, breaking hearts. Your welcome to join.

HUMAN BUILDING BLOCKS

If anyone know us, it is a fact that we like buildings....  NO in fact we love buildings.  In my next life I want to be an architect as the idea of leaving a a piece of art that dominating and people using it in everyday life makes my eyes light up.  This shoot was a bit of a treat to assist on as I like paper. I like buildings. I like making things and I like black and white photography.

Cuba, a delight

Blog spot is taking us for a ride today only allowing one photo per upload. Anyway here are three shots from Cuba. They pretty much encapsulate the dream like qualities of Righteous Plaisant. These photos tell it how it is, highlight delightful colour pallets, and the people in them hide no truths. Iv never in my entire life met people who are so jolly and kind yet have so little. If you have the chance to go there before it gets turned into a 1000sq mile bingo hall. Please do.

Video shoots

Iv got a world of other photos again i will have to dig these pups out when i get back and get them online. A scientologist Miss Lewis maybe, but a walk over she is not. This women is a blast! And she keeps a crew of hot dudes around her, which is a smart method. Maybe RP need some male cheer leaders. But they just sink pints and are kinda manly instead of cheer. You in? ha ha our honesty gets dangerous some times.

So iv a hard drive of shit here so things are going to get a bit all over the place with uploads. Here is a little photo of the fairground that pops up in pic circus every Crimbo. Its full of shitty tourists you want to drop kick in the face. But makes for rad photos. FACT.

I think I may have the moon on a stick

A few shot from a shoot moon on a stick did a couple of months back.  It involved late nights, glue, biscuits and a lot of fun.  I'm excited about the next.  Daniel Sannwald is a clever guy.  Its all happening, I can feel it. RP
